The Freight Logistics Group of Companies began in 1994 as Freight Logistics Inc. or FLI located in the John F. Kennedy (JFK) Cargo Area in Jamaica, New York, specializing in Airfreight Export cargo shipments to Asia.

Within a few short years, FLI quickly earned its stripes as a knowledgeable, professional and reliable niche freight forwarder in New York City having diversified into other areas such as Airfreight Imports and Oceanfreight Exports.

In 1996, owing to the high volume of traffic in both regular and project cargo destined for the Far East, especially to Malaysia, FLI decided to open its own office there. FLI Malaysia Sendirian Berhad initially served as a “service gateway” for FLI rather successfully until the Asian economic crisis of 1997.

In 1999, FLI Malaysia became Freight Logistics Corporation Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. or FLC Malaysia and the change in structure and direction soon saw FLC Malaysia become the first in that market to introduce a new genre of service in logistics known as “Multi Transport Operator” or MTO Consulting by the year 2001.

Freight Logistics Limited Hong Kong opened for business in the year 2000 as yet another point of service “gateway” for us to serve our many clients who were keen on making inroads into China. FLL Hong Kong, with a multitude of alliance partners, now serves as that integral link between China and the rest of the world for our customers.

The latest member of the Group, Freight Logistics LLC, Los Angeles, began operating in the year 2002. Its main purpose was to function as a gateway for all cargo moving in and out of the West Coast of the US.

Today, The Freight Logistics Group not only works with its own offices but also with a reliable network of strategic partners and agents in over 150 countries around the world. We are looking to grow and become more aggressive and hope to include new offices to our Group in the near future.
